EvangeCube PresentationIntroduction Questions:• Are you a body that has a soul or a soul that has a body? Many people will answer, “I am a body that has a soul”. This is unfortunately a graphic example of how little people know or think about spiritual realities. The answer is “You are a soul, a spiritual being that owns a body.” This is readily provable. When you say: My hair, my hand, my feet, my brain, my heart, Who is “MY”? The answer is You are the “My”, you are the one that owns and operates and lives in and through this body. You are a soul that is a spiritual being that has a physical body that allows you to experience the physical world around us. If you did not have eyes to see with, and if you were blind, and deaf so you could not hear, a nose to smell the air, and were unable to touch or feel, you would still be you. You would still be able to think, have opinions, make decisions, etc. but you would still be you. You are the soul, the personality that owns this body.• But what if something happens to this body and it dies? What if an accident happens, or disease or just old age that would cause this body to die, what happens to you then? You would still be alive but on a different plane of existence, or dimension but where would you go? • The Bible is an amazing book that has been given to us to help us understand these things. It says in the first book of the Bible, called Genesis, we were made in God’s image, and were given dominion and responsibility over all the earth and all that is in it. (Genesis 1:26-31) The first man and woman were Adam and Eve, and we are their descendants. This is also explained in Genesis 1-10. We were created to be just like God, (Translated from the Hebrew word Elohim which is a plural word like “mankind” versus “man” and therefore referring to multiple beings as in The Father, the Son, (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit, all referred to as “God” that we were made in the image of) with a physical body to perceive the physical world around us, our soul which is our personality and beingness and a spirit body that was the outer layer of the three part being we were created as. (It looks like a pure white robe of energy and covered their body. It is referred to as a “white Robe” and is referred to in Revelation Chapter 3 and covered their nakedness) This allowed Adam and Eve to be immortal and could live forever and to be able to interact with the eternal spiritual dimension of heaven, where God resides so that we could have a direct relationship with the Creator, our heavenly Father, the King of the Universe and his son, the Prince of Peace. • But something terrible happened. Adam and Eve broke a basic law that God had given them which was not to eat of the fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This caused their spirit body to die, leaving them mortal, naked and ashamed. (Genesis 3) This also left them with a sinful nature that keeps us separated from God. The purity of their heart was stained with sin and gave them, and therefore us, a nature bent on sin and death. Begin the EvangeCube presentation:• This is a graphic explanation of how this problem is solved. Why do I need to be saved?God leaves no doubt about our condition. While we set our standards of right and wrong by society’s values, God’s standard is His own holiness. How do we measure up? “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). It is only fair that God demands holiness; that is how He first created mankind. We have rebelled against Him as a race and as individuals. Our pathway away from God has brought its consequences. “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23a). The Bible compares sin to a cruel slave master. There is no mercy in suffering, no freedom from bondage, no lasting joy, no hope for the future. Most frightening is the final consequence of sin. The Bible warns that without God’s salvation, death is the doorway to eternal punishment (Hebrews 9:27). It is from this that we need to be saved. From our own sin. From its bondage. From its consequences. “How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?” (Hebrews 2:3).
How does God say I can be saved?THE MIRACLE ROAD Get Right With God!Say this prayer and a miracle will take place inside of you - you will be Born Again. You have now found the Miracle Road! Father God I realize I am a sinner. I repent of my sins and receive Your forgiveness now! I declare I am trusting Your Word, and in You alone, Jesus, as my Savior, Lord and Deliverer. I cannot save myself; I can never be good enough to cover my sins. Jesus, You were made my legal substitute and You paid my punishment on the Cross for the crimes I have committed against the Father. I also believe You rose from the dead to guarantee me eternal life! I am now forgiven, born again, a child of God. I pray this prayer in Jesus’ name and please Father, fill me now with Your Holy Spirit. Amen!
